Where summer has bright light and vivid colors, winter is the cool, soft alternative. We still had some interesting shots playing with the light (notice the image with their shadows!) and this isn’t to say that winter light is boring. On the contrary, it’s gorgeous for soft, intimate pictures such as engagement photos. Plus, getting to snuggle up to stay warm is a perk both in the result of the portraits and for you! You heard it here first: beach sessions are suitable year round…even in the Midwest!
